Case study

BookMyDoc

Patients phoned around to find out which doctor was free.

The problem

Finding an available doctor meant calling clinics one at a time during office hours — which is precisely when most people are at work. Clinics absorbed the same calls repeatedly, and availability existed only in a receptionist's diary.

What I did

  1. 01

Built search and discovery for patients

Find a doctor by what matters to the patient, not by which clinic answered the phone.

  2. 02

    Gave doctors availability management

Availability maintained once, visible everywhere, instead of read aloud on request.

  3. 03

Handled appointment scheduling end to end

Booking without a phone call, at the hour the patient is actually free.
